Our rug Muse

The hand-tufted wool and viscose beige rug, named Muse, is the result of the artistic explorations of renowned architect Reda Amalou. This architect, known for his hotel and resort projects worldwide, including the recent Six Senses in Crans Montana, constantly regenerates his creativity. He continues his investigations into forms, lines, and color palettes, bringing enchanting screen prints to life. It is precisely this creative process that inspired Toulemonde Bochart to produce this Muse rug using the hand-tufting technique, available in three distinct color versions. In this new softened version, the Muse rug designed by Réda Amalou becomes a subtle interior landscape. Its organic forms and beige nuances play with light and textures to compose a soft and graphic work of art.

Matter 80% Wool 20% Vegetable Silk

Wool rugs impress with their comfort, resistance and ease of maintenance. The wools used for carpets are stiff and resistant to crushing. Handmade tufted or woven wool rugs, as well as knotted, provide excellent color retention. They combine visual comfort, acoustic comfort by absorbing noise in the velvet, and living comfort by playing a role as a hygrometric regulator. The wool's scale fiber prevents dirt from becoming embedded and promotes cleaning. At a carpet cleaning specialist, it will be washed with a mild detergent using plenty of water. However, regular maintenance with a brushless vacuum cleaner and occasional stain removal with bed base soil will only allow this cleaning to be carried out every 3 to 4 years.
