Tips & choosing your rug
Yes.
We offer samples of our rugs for €15 to allow you to experience the materials, colours, and textures at home before finalising your choice.
The choice of dimensions depends on the room, the furniture, and the desired effect.
In a living room, the rug should ideally accommodate the front legs of the sofa to elegantly structure the space.
For a dining room, we recommend a rug large enough to allow chairs to be pulled back without leaving the rug.
For a harmonious living room, we recommend choosing a rug large enough to structure the living space.
Sizes such as 200x300 cm or 250x350 cm are particularly suitable for large living rooms, while a 170x240 cm rug is perfect for more compact spaces.
For a dining room, the rug should extend well beyond the table to allow for chair movement.
Hand-tufted wool rugs are particularly popular for their comfort and resistance to daily use.
Yes, the majority of our rugs are compatible with underfloor heating.
Our rugs & our expertise
All our rugs are designed in Paris and then handmade in our partner workshops in India and Nepal.

Our rugs are entirely handmade using traditional techniques such as hand-tufting, hand-knotting, or hand-weaving.
Each piece is unique and reflects exceptional artisanal craftsmanship.
Our rugs are made from materials selected for their quality, comfort, and durability:
- New Zealand wool
- washed wool
- botanical silk
- natural fibers,
- and outdoor-suitable materials depending on the collection.
Each material is chosen to reveal the richness of textures and the depth of colors.

All our rugs are GoodWeave® certified, an international certification guaranteeing production without child labor and supporting social programs in the production regions.
This approach is part of our vision of sustainable and responsible luxury.
Maintenance & durability
Regular maintenance helps preserve the beauty of a wool rug for a long time.
We recommend:
- a gentle vacuum cleaner without a rotating brush
- treating stains quickly with a clean cloth
- avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight
- specialized professional cleaning for deep maintenance.
Rugs containing plant silk require a few special precautions.
We recommend:
- a vacuum cleaner without a brush,
- never rubbing the fibres,
- immediately drying any moisture,
- gently smoothing the pile in case of marks.
Shimmering or variations in appearance are part of the natural beauty of this living material.
In case of a stain, it is important to act quickly without ever rubbing.
We recommend:
-
immediately absorbing the excess with a clean cloth or paper towel,
-
dabbing gently,
-
using a product suitable for rugs and natural fibers,
-
avoiding any aggressive cleaning.
For significant stains, we advise contacting a specialized professional.
No.
Handmade rugs made of wool or natural fibers should not be cleaned with a lot of water or abrasive products.
Inadequate cleaning can alter the fibers, colors, and structure of the rug.
To preserve your carpet long-term, we recommend professional cleaning every 3 to 5 years, depending on use and traffic frequency.
In high-traffic areas, more regular maintenance may be necessary.
Yes.
Light shedding is natural during the first few weeks of a rug's life, especially for handmade wool rugs.
It corresponds to the removal of excess fibers resulting from the handcrafted manufacturing process.
This phenomenon gradually diminishes with regular and delicate maintenance.
Yes.
Like all natural materials, textile fibers can change with prolonged exposure to direct light.
We recommend avoiding continuous sun exposure to preserve the intensity and depth of colors over time.
Yes, we recommend it.
An underlay improves:
- stability
- walking comfort,
- the rug's grip
- and its longevity.
It also helps protect floors and limits daily rug movement.
