Matter 60% Viscose 40% Wool

Wool rugs impress with their comfort, resistance and ease of maintenance. The wools used for rugs are stiff and resistant to crushing. Handmade tufted or woven wool rugs, as well as knotted, provide excellent color retention. They combine visual comfort, acoustic comfort by absorbing noise in the velvet, and living comfort by playing a role as a hygrometric regulator. The wool's scale fiber prevents dirt from becoming embedded and promotes cleaning. At a rug cleaning specialist, it will be washed with a mild detergent and plenty of water. However, regular maintenance with a brushless vacuum cleaner and occasional stain removal with bed base soil will only allow this cleaning to be carried out every 3 to 4 years. Toulemonde Bochart rugs are not always single material. To reinforce the character of a pattern, to emphasize a line, it is possible to combine wool with viscose, for example. This play of materials then allows you to play with matte/glossy oppositions for more vibrant designs. Generally, viscose only appears as a flash of light, with little influence on the fragility of the rug. It is the dominant wool which will make the rug resistant and easy to maintain.
