Terms and conditions
Our sales are subject to these general conditions which prevail over any other stipulation emanating from the buyer. Any order sent by the buyer entails his acceptance without restriction or reservation of these general conditions of sale.
The product descriptions on each product page, as well as the accompanying photos, are provided for informational purposes only. Toulemonde Bochart cannot be held liable for any errors that may occur. We commit to making every effort to correct any mistakes or omissions as quickly as possible once they have been brought to our attention.
The colors displayed on the website are not contractual, as screen or printer settings may vary from one device to another. For more details, please contact your nearest retailer.
Products offered by Toulemonde Bochart are crafted using artisanal techniques, which may result in natural variations in color, texture, and dimensions. These variations do not constitute defects and cannot be the basis for claims or refunds. Each piece is unique and may differ slightly from the images presented on the website or in catalogs. Samples provided are indicative and are not contractual.
Orders for custom-made products cannot be canceled or refunded, except in the case of proven defects. Returns are accepted only for standard, non-customized products.
Toulemonde Bochart will make every effort to process all orders, subject to product availability. In the event a product becomes unavailable after the order is placed and within one month, the customer will be informed by email or phone about the delivery of a partial order or the cancellation of their order.
If a product is permanently unavailable and no equivalent item of similar quality and price can be offered, the order will be automatically canceled.
Orders placed through the website commit the buyer as soon as the order is confirmed on the site. Information, photos, and graphics in catalogs are provided for reference only and do not bind the merchant.
Any order placed on the website constitutes the customer’s full and unconditional acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale. The customer acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted these terms. Furthermore, with each purchase on the website, it is implied that you accept the General Terms and Conditions of Sale in effect on the date your order is placed.
Offers presented by Toulemonde Bochart are valid only while stocks last.
Once the customer has submitted an order, they are considered to have knowingly and unreservedly accepted the prices, volumes, and quantities offered for sale and ordered.
Orders will be processed within 48 hours at the latest, starting from the day after the order is placed. If the ordered product is unavailable, the customer will be informed as soon as possible and given the option to cancel their order.
The consumer has a period of fourteen calendar days to exercise their right of withdrawal without providing any reason or paying any penalties, except, where applicable, for return shipping costs.
Product prices in Euros are those in effect at the time the order is placed, excluding shipping costs.
Product prices may be modified at any time due to external events.
Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are charged in addition to the product price, depending on the order amount. Shipping fees will be indicated when the customer places the order.
Unless otherwise specified, products are payable at the time of order. Any amount paid by the customer prior to delivery constitutes a deposit on the total price due.
Penalties equal to the base bank rate plus 3 points are automatically applied to any unpaid amounts 10 days after the invoice date, or immediately upon notification of a rejected bank payment for any other payment method. Delivery of any new order may be suspended in the event of late payment for a previous order.
The consumer may choose from the following payment methods to settle their order:
Credit Card: Secure online payments are processed via Payplug. Your card will be charged immediately upon order placement.
Installment Payments: Available through our partner Alma. Payment security is ensured by Alma and its service providers. All payments are protected by 3D Secure. Only purchases between €50 and €3,500 are eligible for payment via Alma. No fees are charged to the customer for installment payments with Alma. Alma issues an electronic certificate that serves as proof of the transaction amount and date, in accordance with Articles 1316 et seq. of the French Civil Code.
The consumer guarantees that they have any necessary authorizations to use their chosen payment method when confirming the order.
Toulemonde Bochart reserves the right to suspend order processing and delivery in the event of payment refusal by the accredited banking or check authorities, or in the case of non-payment.
Toulemonde Bochart specifically reserves the right to refuse delivery or fulfillment of an order from a consumer who has not fully or partially paid a previous order or with whom a payment dispute is ongoing.
Orders placed during weekends and public holidays are processed during the week, during the opening hours of our administrative services.
Shipping times vary from 48 hours to 15 days depending on the items ordered and the delivery location. These times refer to business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays).
Delivery is considered complete once the product has been made available to the customer. It is the customer’s responsibility to check shipments upon arrival and to note any justified reservations or claims. Products are delivered to the address provided by the customer on the order form and only within mainland France (please contact us for deliveries outside mainland France).
If the delivered products do not conform in type or quality to the specifications indicated in the delivery note, the customer must submit claims to our commercial department within 72 hours of delivery. The consumer must check the condition of the packaging upon delivery and report any damage to the carrier on the delivery note, as well as notify Toulemonde Bochart within 72 hours.
Toulemonde Bochart cannot be held responsible for transport delays or partial or total non-fulfillment of orders in the event of strikes, accidents, fire, natural disasters, civil or foreign war, riots, supply shortages, delays from suppliers or carriers, or any other cause beyond the control of Toulemonde Bochart.
It is the recipient’s responsibility to make any necessary reservations with the carrier before accepting the goods. Reservations must be noted on the delivery slip, of which a copy will be retained by the customer.
Delivery times indicated on our website are for reference only and may be subject to change due to the artisanal nature of the products. In the event of delays, Toulemonde Bochart cannot be held liable for additional time required due to artisanal manufacturing processes, periods of high demand, or difficulties in sourcing raw materials. No compensation or cancellation may be requested due to delivery delays within 30 days of the initially scheduled date.
Upon receipt of the products, the customer must carefully check the condition of the items in the presence of the carrier. Any reservations regarding the condition of the goods or the conformity of the delivery with the order (type and quantity of products) must be clearly and precisely noted on the delivery slip. In the absence of explicit reservations, no claims will be accepted. Claims regarding visible defects must be reported to Toulemonde Bochart within 48 hours by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt. After this period, delivery will be deemed accepted without reservation.
Toulemonde Bochart cannot be held responsible for delays or non-fulfillment of an order in the event of force majeure, including but not limited to pandemics, supply chain interruptions, geopolitical tensions, labor disputes affecting suppliers or carriers, adverse weather conditions, and any other unforeseeable events preventing proper execution of the contract.

The seller retains full ownership of the products sold until full payment of the price, including principal, fees, and taxes. Risk relating to the product transfers upon delivery to the carrier. It is therefore the customer’s responsibility to arrange, at their own expense, insurance to cover any risk, including damage or loss.
The products sold come with a manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty does not cover any products modified or repaired by the buyer or by any other person not expressly authorized by the seller, nor products subject to a specific assistance or maintenance contract.
The warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from improper installation, storage, or maintenance, excessive UV exposure, excessive humidity, or normal wear and tear. Artisanal products are subject to natural changes in appearance, which cannot be considered defects.
The seller cannot be held liable under any circumstances for any indirect damage. In the case of direct damage, the seller’s liability is limited to a maximum amount of €1,500.
Toulemonde Bochart cannot be held responsible for consequences resulting from improper use of the products or normal wear and tear.
