Our rug Fauve Aqua
The hand-tufted wool and viscose rug with a leopard pattern revisited by Toulemonde Bochart, known as Fauve, offers a couture interpretation of the style. The influences of the antique dealer Madelaine Castaing are evident through the delicacy of the colors, the meticulous research of the motifs and the artisanal framing work. Made with the finest New Zealand worsted wools, the Fauve rug is distinguished by its exceptionally tight weaving quality, allowing the creation of patterns of great precision and remarkable shine.
Craftsmanship is revealed in every detail of this hand-tufted rug, carefully crafted in our workshops in India. A special feature of this rug is the incorporation of a gold-colored viscose net, creating a distinctive visual effect. The all-over pattern of this rug makes it a versatile choice, suitable for both exuberant decors and more sober interiors. The two colors available, Fauve Aqua and Fauve Naturel, create contrasting ambiances. Fauve Aqua seduces with its deep blue shades subtly enhanced by touches of black, while Fauve Naturel fits perfectly into a revisited classic style.
