Our rug Caprice Multi

The multi-colored hand-tufted wool rug, designed by Vincent Darré, represents the pinnacle of this exceptional talent on the Parisian art scene, and marks the designer's third collaboration with Toulemonde Bochart. Whether as a director, costume designer or creator of eccentric interiors, Darré offers us here a work recalling the influences of Vallauris ceramics, the lucky symbol of the fish, as well as the deep nuances of the Mediterranean seabed, evoking his travels in Capri, like the film “Le Mépris”. This unique rug illuminates both sober and more extravagant decors with its vibrant hues. Handmade with a wool tufting technique, it achieves its subtly faded tones and watercolor-like effects thanks to an exclusive dyeing process and deep washing. Its maintenance is easy, requiring only regular vacuuming without brushing and deep cleaning by a professional every four years, depending on its use.
